Gary Vitale
President

Gary brings 25 years of significant industry experience to NAWLA. His most recent position was that of President/CEO of TW Hager Lumber Company; a wholesale distribution company headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Prior to his tenure as President/CEO of TW Hager, Gary worked for Guardsman Products as the General Manager of the Wood Coatings Distribution Group. He also has held positions with Formplac of North America and Formica Corporation. As President of NAWLA not only will Gary be responsible for managing the operations of the NAWLA offices, he will coordinate the volunteer activities of the Association Officers, Directors and Committees. Gary will represent NAWLA at all industry events and meetings. Gary earned a BS in Marketing Management from St. Peter's College.

Jennifer Chan
Accountant

Jennifer joined the staff in June of 2000. She has over 14 years of experience in different aspects of accounting, and her background includes Commercial Business Banking, Telecommunications and Real Estate. She received her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from The University of Illinois at Chicago. As NAWLA's full-charge staff accountant, Jennifer is responsible for all areas of accounting and HR functions in the office, and assists external auditors in annual year-end audit of books and records through preparation of all required schedules.

Barbara Nissen

Barbara has been with NAWLA since February 1989. She assists with the daily correspondence and helps the management staff with a variety of office duties. She also manages the registration for NAWLA's Regional meetings and the different NAWLA Educational programs, including Teachers Tours, and coordinates logistics for NAWLA materials shipped to and from various meeting sites. Barb works closely with the NAWLA Office Assistant Patti Bauer to coordinate the efficient distribution and mailing of all office correspondence and meeting announcements and all other member communications.

Patti has been with NAWLA since September 2006. She manages registration for all NAWLA Webinars, membership applications, and updates for the NAWLA Website. She also works closely with Barb Nissen to coordinate the efficient distribution and mailing of all office correspondence, including meeting announcements and all other member communications. She also helps Barb with the packing of NAWLA materials to be shipped to and from various meeting sites. She helps management staff with a variety of office duties as well.

Stacey comes to NAWLA with more than ten years experience in association management, meeting planning and educational programming with organizations in Washington, DC and Denver, CO. She is a CMP - Certified Meetings Professional and has an M.A. in Educational and Human Development from The George Washington University. Stacey handles planning the NAWLA Traders Market, the NAWLA Executive Conference, NAWLA Regional Meetings, and all of NAWLA's educational programs as well. Stacey is the staff liaison to the NAWLA Education Committee and the NAWLA Traders Market Committee.
